Most veterans stand by the theory that when a dunk becomes a 3pt play they will do it!<span style=""> </span>Such is its popularity a ceiling is put on the number of teams that can participate and each Queen’s birthday weekend in June when approx 40 teams make the trip to Logan where the “Journey still remains the Prize”.<o:p></o:p></span> <p><span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:9pt;color:black;" lang="EN-GB" >Whilst Basketball Queensland sanctioned, the ECC is solely administered by a committee of <span style=""> </span>like-minded, voluntary basketball ‘nuts’ who work together to ensure the smooth running of the event. We are firm believers that sport (in particular basketball) can be a lifelong activity and we are proud to provide that opportunity for all.<span style=""> </span>The East Coast Challenge is another event which puts <st1:city st="on"><st1:place st="on">Logan</st1:place></st1:city> firmly in the sporting spotlight each year and continues to bring obvious commercial and regional awareness. <o:p></o:p></span></p> <p><span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:9pt;color:black;" lang="EN-GB" >The East Coast Challenge is now the sponsor of the Junior East Coast Challenge, a one day event where <span style=""> </span>Club teams participate within a friendly environment.
